We need help decorating the VMHOA Clubhouse for the Holiday season. The decorating party will happen at the VMHOA Clubhouse on Saturday November 27, 2004, starting at 9:00am. Small children are especially encouraged.
The Board of Directors is accepting resumes from homeowners for a position of director on the board. If you are willing to provide community service and have a background in business, management, finance, project management or a related field, please send your resume to Preferred Property Managers. Villa Monterey HOA is a $54 million complex and is a major investment of most homeowners. Your decisions will help guide the board as we move forward to be certain that we maintain property values and help Villa Monterey remain as one of the premier locations in San Diego. The coyotes in our community are getting more and more fearless. They have been seen walking the sidewalks and greenbelts. Please call Animal Control at (619) 236-4250 if you feel that you or your pet is in immediate danger.
The next Villa Monterey garage sale is scheduled for Saturday, November 6th, 7:30am - 2:00pm. All homeowners are welcome to participate. Goodwill and other similar organizations do not pick up any items left over after a garage sale. So please, when the garage sale is over, close your garage doors and take any leftovers you may have to one of the drop off sites.
Due to situations encountered in some recent clubhouse events, starting on November 1, 2004, clubhouse renters will be charged a $150 damage deposit in addition to the rental fee to cover any necessary costs. The full deposit will be returned if the clubhouse is left clean and in good condition. If the carpet has stains that need to be cleaned or the trash has to be removed from the premises, the fee for these services will be deducted from the deposit. The next homeowner's meeting will be on Wednesday, November 10th, 2004, at 6:00 p.m. and all homeowners are encouraged to attend. Remember, it's always the second Wednesday of the month and we're always looking for homeowners who would like to be involved.
