Garage Door Cleaning

In order to keep your garage doors working properly, lubricate the door rollers, bearings and hinges (not the tracks) with a silicone spray twice a year. Warning - lubricants like WD40 may stain the surface of your garage door. It is also the responsibility of all homeowners to clean your garage doors regularly. A simple hosing will do wonders.

Clubhouse Upgrade

The kitchen in the clubhouse now has a new Hotpoint stove, replacing what had been in place since the mid 1970s. In addition, we're waiting for the arrival of several new beach umbrellas for the pool area. And, finally, all the lighting in the clubhouse and pool area is now in working order.

Clubhouse Rentals

Need a place to have a birthday, anniversary, or graduation party? If you haven't considered using our clubhouse, you should. It's a great, inexpensive way to host a gathering that is too large for your home. The rental fee runs from $25 to $75 per event depending on the time and day of the event. The clubhouse has a pool table, fireplace, tables, chairs, and a full kitchen with dishwasher, refrigerator, oven and microwave. The clubhouse does not include use of the pool area. Observing the rules helps us to live harmoniously and maximize the enjoyment of our community, as well as helping to maintain the ever-growing value of our individual properties.

A Continuing Problem

Vandalism in the pool and clubhouse areas continues to be a problem. In particular, the men's room seems to be the target for persons unknown. What was found on the walls is not mentionable but did call for professional cleaning at one point. If you should see any individuals misusing our facilities, please call the management company at (858) 569-8773.

Monthly Meetings: May

An individual who indicated he was an original owner asked to speak during "homeowners' input" concerning our landscaping. We appreciate the input, however, much of what was discussed has been in the MONTEREY MESSAGE. If you want to know what's going on, there is no substitute for that one Wednesday evening a month. And check out our website, too.

The June homeowner's meeting is on Wednesday, June 9th at 6:00 p.m. All homeowners are invited to attend.
