Signs

A sign has gone up in the area of the jacuzzi calling attention to an often ignored safety rule in our Rules & Regulations manual; namely, that no alcohol may be consumed in the pool or spa area. Those who empty the trash receptacles in the immediate area of the jacuzzi find a dozen - or more - beer cans each week. The latter, incidentally, go to a good cause: they're collected and given to the Humane Society on Sherman St. But, please, soda cans only. Please enjoy the facilities safely.

Opportunity

Landscape walks are being held on the last Wednesday of the month, beginning at 2pm. This August it will be held on the 30th. Everyone is welcome to join the Landscape Committee as it tours the "wild side." Meet at the Rimpark Lane clubhouse.

On Your Calendar

On Tuesday, October 10th, beginning at 7 p.m., The League of Women Voters will host a discussion of upcoming election issues at our clubhouse. The event is free and everyone is welcome.

Looking Ahead

Your clubhouse chairpersons are looking forward todecorating the clubhouse at Christmas. If you are moving and have decorations that you're willing to part with, we'd welcome the chance to have them. Call John Marsh, 492-9591.

Rules Manual

Every owner should have a copy of our Rules Manual and should an owner rent his property, it is his responsibility to see that the tenant has a copy. Observing the Rules helps us live harmoniously and maximize the enjoyment of our facilities. Contact Curtis Management Company if you need a copy of them sent to you.

Goes to Lester, who oversaw the recent gas line project. The time and effort he put in were truly above and beyond. Our appreciation as well goes to George, who has recently repaired pool area chairs with his welder.

Note that our Rules' manual prohibits bicycling on the HOA sidewalks. Near misses of cycles and walkers have been all to common of lately.

Keep in Mind

5ome confusion as to just who may rent our clubhouse can be resolved by reading the clubhouse rental agreement or our, rules' manual. The latter indicates that the facility is available to residents for social purposes. All other uses must have the approval of the Board, which incidentally, has approved a revised rental agreement. The latter indicates that the rental of the clubhouse doe not include the exclusive use of the pool and jacuzzi.
