2008

BOD Meeting Agenda (August 2008)
The VMHOA BOD Minutes page has had links to summaries of BOD minutes, after the minutes are approved the following month. Beginning September 2008, the most current link will point to the BOD Agenda for the upcoming BOD meeting. After the minutes are approved at the next BOD meeting, the link will point to the a summary of the approved minutes. The agenda is usually available a few days before the meeting. The agenda is also posted on the front of the clubhouse.
Calendar (April 2008)
The VMHOA Calendar reflects the change of schedule for Landscape Walk-through from the 4th Friday to 4th Wednesday of each month.

2006

Domains (December 2006)
We have restored our former domain name, vmhoa.org. Our site is now accessible as VillaMontereyHOA.org, vmhoa.net and vmhoa.org. Older search engine links to vmhoa.org can again be accessed.
Elected Officials Link (December 2006)
Added a link on the Community page to a webpage listing elected representatives and gov. services links maintained by Tierrasanta Community Council.
New Hosting Site (August 2006)
We are now hosted at StartLogic.com and have the registered domains VillaMontereyHOA.org and vmhoa.net.
Welcome letter to new residents (May 2006)
A Welcome! letter will be sent by the management company to new residents. A copy is linked from the Association page.
Semi-Annual VMHOA Garage Sales (Apr 2006)
VMHOA garage sales had been posted as recurring Calendar events for the 3rd Saturday of April and October. Since the dates vary, they'll be posted individually when scheduled.
San Diego Environmental Services Department location & phone number updated. (Mar 2006)
They had moved from Kearny Mesa to the Miramar area.
New Property manager (March 2006)
Effective 1 March 2006, the Villa Monterey HOA property management firm will again be Curtis Management. Welcome back, Marysia!

Semi-Annual Garage Sale (Mar 2005)
The VMHOA Semi-Annual Garage Sale for Spring 2005 will be on Saturday, 23 April 2005. Here is the Flyer provided by Laura Shell.

Holiday Decorations (Nov 2004)
The November 2004 Newsletter has been augmented with an invitation to help decorate the Clubhouse for the holiday season.
Clubhouse Rental Agreement [pdf] (Nov 2004)
A new Clubhouse Rental Agreement [pdf] replaces the older version.
Trash & Recycle Collection Schedule (May 2004)
Trash & recycle collection will change from Tuesday to Friday, beginning the week of 7 June 2004. See the Community Services page.
Parking (February 2004)
The revised Parking and Use of Garages policy is posted on the parking page.
Calendar (January 2004)
Fixed the Leap Year bug in the Calendar.

2003

Calendar (December 2003)
The Calendar.net calendar is replaced with a Calendar hosted at our web site.
Recent Additions (November 2003)
Relocation (September 2003)
The Boomspeed site is discontinued effective 24 Sep 2003. That location will remain for a while with a link to this location.
New Hosting Site (August 2003)
Recent interest among Association members and BOD members, especially Ed Abeyta, in using the Internet to promulgate information about Association projects and business have prompted the move to this site. We are now hosted at PrattSystems.com and have a registered domain, vmhoa.org. This site provides more storage, so we'll be able to show you some pictures as well as more information.
Content (August 2003)
Much of the new content will be added as pages linked from the Association page. These are some of the components which we hope to add in the next few weeks and months. Board meeting minutes for the current year (2003) through July have been added. That collection will be augmented as each month's meeting minutes are approved.
Hours (February 2003)
Links to operating hours info for Library and Post Office added to the maps ("Where is...") page in Community Resources.
Hit tracking (January 2003)
As suggested, I've added a hit tracking service, using the AddFreeStats service, which may be accessed from the "stats" button at the bottom of the main page.

Special Assessments (November 2002)
On the Association page is a link to a listing of Special Assessments. The purpose of a Special Assessment is sometimes mentioned in the monthly newsletter.
Tierrasanta Community Council link (November 2002)
On the Community page is a link to the Tierrasanta Community Council (TCC) website. TCC is the officially recognized planning group for the Tierrasanta and Murphy Canyon community.

New Site for VMHOA (September 2001)
Well, Crosswinds' problems seem to have gotten worse and more persistent. And access is more limited. So here we are at Boomspeed.com. This an "almost-too-good-to-be-true" site with (as of yet) no advertising demands nor onerous access limitations. I'll leave the vmhoa pages here for as long as possible.

Pop-Up Ads (October 2000)
Crosswinds was selected to host out pages because they didn't impose pop-up or banner ads. They seem to have become a victim of their own success and now require the pop-ups to generate revenue. If I receive sufficient gripes, I'll either move the pages another site or reconfigure the pages to minimize your exposure to them.
